ICC GHANA TO PARTNER CIBG TO TRAIN PROFESSIONALS

ICC Ghana is to partner the Chartered Institute of Bankers Ghana to provide training for banking and finance professionals. This follows a series of meetings between the Banking Commission of ICC Ghana and the management of CIBG.

The two organizations are expected to sign an MoU to roll out a joint programme for 2019.

Some of the programmes include:

Certificate in International Trade and Finance (CITF®) Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists (CDCS®)Certificate for Specialists in Demand Guarantees (CSDG®) CDCS, CSDG and CITF are recognised worldwide as benchmarks of competence for international practitioners.

The CDCS, CSDG and CITF have been developed in consultation with industry experts to make sure that the qualification reflects best practice. It was created by the International Financial Services Association (IFSA) and The London Institute of Banking & Finance and was first examined in 1999. CDCS, CSDG and CITF is now managed by The London Institute of Banking & Finance in partnership with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
